The secretive start-up company – Humane was created by 2 former Apple Alumni Imran Chaudhri & Bethany Bangiorno to bring Humanity back to tech.

Here is a video I found by Tech TearDown on the Wearable AI Projector First Look & Demo @ TED https://youtu.be/mvWqqs1dJ0I
Is this the future? Will this technology help us as Seniors who still want to stay mobile? What about our future shopping habits, social events, and travel as well as living safely and being able to Age in Place in our homes?
I am excited about the future of technology but I am also a little afraid of it. Don’t get me wrong, at home we have more computers, mobile devices and technology in our home already – I ask Alexa (who’s always listening – YEEK) to turn my “stair light” on or off so I don’t trip and fall, she also plays my favourite music on Spotify and answers simple questions and adds products to our grocery list.
I have also started to play with AI apps like ChatGPT and other voice-to-text and voice-to-image programs with a few concerns. While these are wonderful learning machines that help us organize our thoughts and give life to the images in our head and no, this article was written by me, Jan Addams, a REAL HUMAN (are we going to have to say that now?) I wonder if a combination of the Jetsons, Star Trek and WALLY has finally joined together?
Heck, I still remember when Music videos came out and I was concerned. I remember thinking that really great music just died as musicians would now be more concerned about the ‘visuals’ than creating the awesome music I grew up with in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. I agree with the band The Buggles that wrote Videos Killed the Radio Stars.
What are your thoughts on this upcoming technology that is in the ‘palm of your hand’ instead of on a mobile device (can’t call them phones anymore as they are often more powerful than your home computer.)
Cheers to “Glowing Older & Shining Brighter” (Hey maybe I’m onto something!)
