When designing this Master Bedroom & Ensuite I had to take a few things into consideration:

I was doing this to sell the home so I had no ‘owner input’. I wanted to create a space that flowed easily from the bedroom to the closet to the mini kitchen & laundry area to the His & Her Ensuite. The goal was to make the space replicate the exterior elements and keep the look and feel as organic as possible.

This included having an accessible ‘if necessary’ sink cabinet (placed between 2 completely finished drawer cabinets) to be removed for wheelchair access if required. Towel bars are actually designer Grab bars including the toilet roll holders. I also had a couple conveniently placed in the transitionless shower.

HERE ARE A FEW FEATURES:

  • Hardwood tile flooring – No transition between rooms
  • Recessed layered lighting – on dimmers
  • 5 x 10′ Porcelain Fireplace Wall – low maintenance and beautiful
  • 2-way fireplace – to the Master Bedroom Hot tub area
  • Outlets raised for accessibility – and lowered light switches
  • Custom-designed & made headboard and bedframe to add beauty, comfort and softness
  • Swivel Lights for reading
  • Custom-designed master closet with his & her sides
