Recently, (Jan 7-14th, 2020) my amazing Son Ryan Addams and his wife Katrina took my husband Glen Atkinson and myself to an All-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
We have to say we were a little concerned about traveling there when you hear about all the crime and problems in Mexico… we can honestly say our experience in Cancun (at our Resort) was wonderful.
If you want an EXCEPTIONAL 5***** “Resort Style Luxury Vacation” in the warmth of the Caribbean, then this is the place you want to book!
The Paradisus Cancun Resort is made up of 5 towers 2 on the left – the main tower (3) and 2 on the right.
The main tower (3) is where the lobby, stores, and restaurants are located. Almost all the rooms of this tower (where we stayed) run along either the front of the resort (the Lagoon view side) and the back which is the Ocean-view side. The center courtyard is filled with live plants and vines that make you feel like you are in a luxurious jungle!

The food was absolutely first-rate and we tried all the restaurants!

The all-inclusive buffet at the Malva Restaurant was over the top in quality and the waiters especially Cristian Lovern and his partner Thomas were highly attentive (especially if you tipped them 😉 may I suggest taking a lot of $1.00 USD rather than Pesos as everything is priced in USD and then converted back to PESO’s so it is like a double conversion.
Peso’s still worked fine and for reference, currently, 50 Pesos is around $2.60 USD and $3.50 CND and 100 Peso’s around $5.50USD and $6.99 CND).
